COATED ABRASIVES
Abrasive grains coated to paper, cloth, film, vulcanised fiber, or synthetic backing, converted into different shapes such as belts, rolls, discs, and sheets. For applications including heavy-to-medium material removal, fine finishing, and light blending and polishing.

CONVENTIONAL BELTS, ROLLS, FIBRE DISCS

Manufactured using unique abrasive grains coated to paper, cloth, film, vulcanised fibre or synthetic backing, converted into different shapes such as belts, rolls, discs, sheets. For applications including heavy-to-medium material removal, fine finishing, and light blending and polishing.

FLAP DISCS

Norton flap discs are engineered for multiple applications including heavy stock removal, blending and finishing. Flap discs have a fast cut and provide a better finish than grinding wheel while having the added benefit of a longer life than fiber.

SPECIALTIES

Boasting a large selection of shapes, sizes and grains, the ‘specialties’ range of abrasives can be used in general purpose applications as well as more specific or problematic applications. They are ideal for grinding and blending intricately shaped and contoured components or for high speed, accurate grinding. Specialties are commonly used on a drill or die grinder and include spirabands, pencil rolls, square pads, cartridge rolls and sanding stars.

NO-FIL

Norton No-fil technology consistently outperforms conventional abrasives. It cuts faster, runs cooler, resists loading better, and lasts longer to help maximize productivity.

FILM

FOR MICROFINISHING, SUPERFINISHING AND LAPPING: Our new range of Film Rolls are designed to provide the highest performance needed for fine finishing operations. Expert technical support is available, customized to your application.

NON-WOVEN BEARTEX

Norton Bear-Tex products consist of a non-woven web of nylon fibers impregnated throughout with abrasive grain and bonded with synthetic resins. This design produces a cushioned, three-dimensional material that is extremely pliable and long lasting. The uniform dispersion of abrasive throughout the web provides a continuous supply of new grain as the old grain and fibers wear away during use.

ENGINEERED ABRASIVES - NORAX

Norton Norax belts are engineered to achieve the highest quality, finest finishing and polishing results on orthopaedic implants, surgical instruments and equipment. Thanks to the micro-structured, 3D abrasive grain where thousands of small grits are formed in several layers for uniform surface contact, Norax belts provide the most uniform scratch pattern and a consistent finish on stainless steel, chrome cobalt and aluminium. In addition, this abrasive structure can outlast conventional abrasives with 2-5x longer life.

MESH-BACKED

The multi-functional abrasive has an open mesh construction allowing particles to flow freely through thousands of tiny holes. This hole structure allows dust extraction in any application and provides a dust free sanding environment. This is better for your health, better for your application and business making it ideal for your auto body work.

CUTTING DISCS & GRINDING WHEELS

Cutting discs and Grinding wheels for markets ranging from welding, pipe, construction, and foundry to primary metal markets for snagging and cutting ferrous and nonferrous materials.

Super ABRASIVES

Grinding tools manufactured using diamond and cubic boron nitride (cBN) superabrasive materials, used in industries where high precision is required: Automotive engine, transmission and bearing components, semiconductor chips, and automotive and architectural glass.

BONDED ABRASIVES

Abrasive grains joined with an organic or vitrified bond, molded into various shapes for a variety of applications from cutting to rough and high-precision grinding including diameter grinding, dimensioning, sharpening and finishing.
