CUTTING DISCS & GRINDING WHEELS
Cutting discs and Grinding wheels for markets ranging from welding, pipe, construction, and foundry to primary metal markets for snagging and cutting ferrous and nonferrous materials.
CUTTING DISCS
The Norton range of cut-off wheels for hand held right angle, straight grinders and petrol saws provides superior performance in the most stringent working environment. State-of-the-art solutions are available for heavy industrial cutting-off operations in metal fabrication, foundry, steel mill and maintenance and repair markets as well as general applications in the building and construction or DIY markets.
GRINDING WHEELS
Grinding wheels for portable grinding applications. Norton manufactures a wide variety of resin bonded grinding wheels, in flat and cup shapes for portable snagging, grinding down and smoothing weld seams, cleaning metal before welding and levelling metal surfaces prior to welding.
LARGE DIAMETER CUT-OFF WHEELS
Norton offers a range of cut-off wheels (reinforced and non-reinforced) for use on fixed machines such as chop saws, rail cutting machines or stationary machines. Available in different diameters from Large Diameter Cut-Off wheels (LDCO) to 900mm, to cut-off wheels for chop saws from 300mm. Reinforced cut-off wheels are commonly used in the foundry industry on all steel types as well as in applications in the aerospace, automotive and rail markets. Non-reinforced-cut off wheels are often found in saw sharpening, tool cut-off, laboratory cut-off for metallographic analyses and industrial (cable) cut-off applications.
FLEXIBLE & SEMI-FLEXIBLE DISCS
The ultimate hard wearing aggressive disc for surface cleaning and grinding concrete, marble and stone. The silicon carbide grain breaks down under pressure when used to produce new cutting edges which always stay sharp.

Super ABRASIVES
Grinding tools manufactured using diamond and cubic boron nitride (cBN) superabrasive materials, used in industries where high precision is required: Automotive engine, transmission and bearing components, semiconductor chips, and automotive and architectural glass.
BONDED ABRASIVES
Abrasive grains joined with an organic or vitrified bond, molded into various shapes for a variety of applications from cutting to rough and high-precision grinding including diameter grinding, dimensioning, sharpening and finishing.
Coated Abrasives
Abrasive grains coated to paper, cloth, film, vulcanised fiber, or synthetic backing, converted into different shapes such as belts, rolls, discs, and sheets. For applications including heavy-to-medium material removal, fine finishing, and light blending and polishing.
