The production platform for your individual grinding solution
The STUDER S22 is a Production Platform and not just a cylindrical grinding machine. It focuses on medium-sized work pieces in large-scale production. The aim, when designing the S22 was to be able to machine any work piece on the S22 by utilising a wide range of technologies: Cylindrical Grinding in a production environment, Form Grinding and Thread Grinding, High-Speed Grinding (HSG) with cutting speeds between 80 and 140 m/s or Heavy-Duty applications with a grinding wheel width of up to 160mm are all possible.
The S22 is a further development of the proven and popular S32 and S36 Cylindrical Grinding Machines and features various technical highlights, such as linear drives, the possibility of automation on both sides or from above or for interlinking, outstanding clarity (status control) and accessibility for operation and service.
